    About our CAST STONE Heads

Cast Stone Window Heads are used to add interest and architectural detail to brick, render or stone elevations. A full range of standard designs are available or custom-made to your own specification to match existing details.

The popularity of PVC windows means that standard opening sizes are rare, so most cast stone heads are now made to order to suit exact window openings. Please allow sufficient time for manufacture and curing.

Our most popular window head is the H3 (215mm high) with 100mm bearings at each end which are built into the brickwork. Please see the drawings below for full details of head designs, including heads for render with a 20mm deeper allowance for the thickness of render.

Bay cill sets for 45 and 90 degree bays are available to order.

Please note our window heads units are not load-bearing and will therefore require a lintel. Professional advice must be taken regarding installation, please refer to our Technical Information page and the UKCSA guidance notes for more information.

Cast Stone Keystones – Manufactured in a range of standard designs with custom-made options. They are often used in conjunction with cast stone window heads.
