Cast Stone Temple,
Perth, Australia

This Gothic temple and obelisk are part of a project that we supplied in Perth, Western Australia.

Our client was delighted with the finished products which formed part of the landscaping scheme for a prestigious new dwelling.

Balustrade, Country House

Over 500 balusters were supplied, along with highly ornate bespoke gate pillars, pier caps and coping stones as part of this major landscaping project for Farr & Roberts.

The main steps to the property feature ramp and twist balustrade which runs into terrace and perimeter balustrade.

The main contractor asked if we could recommend an experienced fitter for the balustrade, which we were able to do. The customer was thrilled with the end result, both in terms of the quality and workmanship.

Castellations,
Twist Sondes

This very fine property was painstakingly restored to its former splendour by a prestigious Surrey developer.

The restoration included the careful reproduction of the castellation copings and entrance features by Acanthus.

The Pentagon,
YG Construction

London’s luxury developers YG Construction won a major accolade, being winners of housebuilder awards 2017.

Acanthus supply all the stonework for YG Construction and worked on their project at Lipton House (the conversion of a listed period building into 24 luxury apartments plus the construction of 6 period-style properties).

The specification includes porticos, window and door surrounds and many other bespoke products. Acanthus worked tirelessly with YG Construction, detailing and managing all their cast stone requirements.

Jasmine Court,
YG Construction

London’s luxury developers YG Construction have just won a major accolade, being winners of housebuilder awards 2017.

Acanthus supply all the stonework for YG Construction and are currently working on their latest project at Lipton House (the conversion of a listed period building into 24 luxury apartments plus the construction of 6 period-style properties).

The specification includes porticos, window and door surrounds and many other bespoke products. Estimating and CAD Manager Leigh White has worked tirelessly with YG Construction, detailing and managing all their cast stone requirements.

Kingfishers,
TW Construction

This new-build house utilised curved on plan, vertical radius and ramp & twist copings; which are curved in both the x and y axis.

The curved Georgian window surrounds were particular difficult to produce due to the very high level of detail.

Pier cap and finials provided the finishing touches to the entrance.

Aldorea,
Dave Tyrell

Acanthus were delighted to supply all the stone requirements for this lovely property in a very sought-after area of Southern England.

The bespoke design specified for the bay windows was particularly significant.

Private Home,
Chris Aspinall

The lower half of the house was designed using long ashlar blockwork with top and bottom chamfers creating an unusual linear effect.

The entrance portico and circular gable windows added further detail to the final design.

Badger's Mead,
Farr & Roberts

A carefully detailed country house was designed and built by specialist builders utilising window surrounds, keystones and bespoke dentil and chimney features in addition to a well-proportioned portico.

The end result has generated much interest from potential buyers including celebrity clients.

Edwardian Splendour,
Marcus Sala

This prestigious local landscaping project for a private client displays a range of external features to great effect.

Acanthus supplied a fountain complete with surround, pier caps and copings in addition to an extravagant pair of personalised gate pillars which frame the distinguished Edwardian property perfectly.

London Project,
Markov Signature

This project involved two identical properties-built side by side by a London developer.

One was specified in Portland colour and the other in Bathstone.

A huge amount of CAD design was involved in establishing the final specification to ensure every item fitted together perfectly.

The large bays were a particular challenge!

Portico,
John Saunders

The use of a carefully proportioned portico plus balustrade at first floor level succeeds in transforming the front elevation of this suburban home.
