About our CAST STONE Cills
Cast Stone Window Cills are used to add interest and architectural detail to brick, render or stone elevations. A full range of standard designs are available or custom-made to your own specification to match existing details.
The popularity of PVC windows means that standard opening sizes are rare, so most cills are now made to order to suit exact window openings. Please allow sufficient time for manufacture and curing.
Our most popular cill is the C2 (140mm high) with 100mm stoolings at each end which are built into the brickwork. Please see the drawings for full details of cill designs, including stooled cills for render with a 20mm deeper allowance for the thickness of render.
Slip cills don’t have stoolings at each end and would be manufactured to same length as the window opening itself.
Bay cill sets for 45 and 90 degree bays are available to order.
Keystones – Manufactured in a range of standard designs with custom-made options. They are often used in conjunction with cast stone window heads.
