About our Cast Stone String Courses

String coursing is used as a feature band just above ground floor windows and can be a single or double course with plain, chamfered or moulded detailing.

Adding a string course to a large property or boundary wall can really elevate the elegance by breaking up the large areas of brickwork. Choosing the right design for your string course really depends on whether you want it to be a big or small feature. For something more subtle you may opt for a flush string course but if you want to make it a stand out feature then having a moulded string course is for you.

String courses can be a great compliment alongside cornice as well. Find out more about our cast stone cornice here.
